Fruit of Peace

Peace is something that I believe every human being on the plant craves in some form. There are so many ways to view peace and it means different things to different people. However, I believe that God’s Word shows us the kind of peace that no one would deny obtaining, and it also teaches us how to have it!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. – Galatians 5:22-23

The Greek word for peace is – eirene (i-ray’-nay): peace, quietness, rest. The Webster’s dictionary defines it as: freedom from anxiety, annoyance, or other mental disturbances. A state of tranquility or serenity.
