Fruit of Joy

I have been told that I have the fruit of joy welling up inside me. Unfortunately, I do not see it and found this to be my most challenging fruit to write about—so far…Simply because I do not see joy evident in my heart and mind. I want to see it manifested in my life.

When I think of joy, I think of freedom, happiness, laughter and a carefree spirit. I do not see this in my own walk. However, I want to! So, join me on the journey to finding joy…

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. – Galatians 5:22-23
